Job description

St. Leo the Great Church, located in Little Italy (Baltimore), seeks candidates for a Legacy Coordinator. The Legacy Coordinator provides administrative support, planning, implementation, and coordination for special projects as directed by the Pastor and Director of Operations that preserve and advance the spiritual and cultural legacy of St. Leo the Great parish. This is a part-time position, working 10-15 weekly hours.
Essential Functions

  • Plans, coordinates, implements, and supports parish-based projects such as community events, fundraisers, galas, and festivals.
  • Builds and maintains active parish relationships with community and neighborhood stakeholders and organizations.
  • Organizes and maintains accurate and up-to-date physical and digital files of past and present parishioners and alumni of St. Leo the Great Parish and School.
  • Organizes and maintains history, archives, memorabilia, and records related to the spiritual and cultural legacy of the parish.
  • Works with Pastor, Parish Staff, and Finance/Advancement Committee members for solicitation and processing of grants, donations, planned giving, and bequests.
  • Develops and distributes print and online promotional and informational material (brochures, flyers, etc.)

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and appreciation of the history and heritage of St. Leo the Great parish.
  • Strong commitment to the cultural and economic stability of St. Leo the Great parish.
  • Flexible, adaptable, team-player, and self-motivated.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and experience working in an office setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Trustworthy with sensitive, personal, and confidential information.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Teams, and MinistryPlatform.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00, Hourly
