Job description

Job TitleTeam LeadJob Description

Reports to the company headquarters in Marietta, GA. Roving employee - will work at various unknown project sites throughout the U.S for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.

Job Duties:

Manage a team of Controls Project Engineers (CPE) / SCADA Engineers as direct reports.

Coach individual staff based on CPE / SCADA job grid parameters and set relevant performance targets.

Conduct routine 1:1 meetings.

Conduct Mid-Year and Year End Reviews.

Conduct interviews and debriefs of possible new hire candidates.

Monitor team member compliance with company guidelines and processes.

Maintain skill level assessments for team/individual performance.

Evaluate, recommend, and facilitate promotions, training, and goal setting for individuals.

Mentor, or seek proper outside mentorship, for individual staff based on career progression needs.

Function as an information conduit between your team and your supervisory manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any) or a related field of study and Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained.

Position also requires demonstrated experience with the following:

Material handling systems on a systems level

Managing project finances and how to control them for the scope of the project

Overseeing the processes involved in the execution of project deliverables

Overseeing skills assessment tests of team members

Implementing common components and parts, and knowing how they influence control applications

Safety practices and protocols

Validation testing principles

PLC development

Managing controls standardization platforms

Installing, programming, commissioning, and testing parcel sorting equipment

Working with key cross-functional stakeholders, subcontractors, and engineers to coordinate multiple aspects of control systems designs and executions as well as systems designs, network designs, and product commissioning initiatives

Designing and executing end-to-end systems validation testing for mechanical components and design specifications
