Job description

Parcel Processors / Material Handlers
2nd Shift: Monday-Saturday (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM) 
$16 / hour
Summary:
The purpose of this position will be to perform international mail processing to ensure the mail is correctly sorted, packaged, clearly printed and that the labels are placed correctly ensuring all processing procedures are properly followed this includes timeliness and accuracy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Process mail by sort area requirements and in accordance with company quality process standards
  • Meet sorting production quota standards
  • Inspect each piece of mail to ensure the labels are affixed correctly and the zip code on the label matches within the system
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area
  • Adhere to and promotes all safety policies and procedures
  • Duties may include reassignment to alternate operational areas as business needs require

Education and Experience

  • Basic skill set (refer to required skills section below)

  • Previous mail processing experience (preferred but not required)

  • Basic software skills including email and excel

Requirements/Skills

  • Work overtime as necessary & required

  • Understand and carry out oral instructions

  • Detail oriented

  • Basic math and reading skills

  • Ability to sort alphabetically and numerically

  • Flexibility

  • Ability to work in a team-driven environment

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
