Paraprofessional / School Aide – Chino Area, CA

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Paraprofessionals/School Aides to support students in school settings throughout the Chino area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students and helping them achieve success academically, socially, and behaviorally.

The Paraprofessional works under the supervision of teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to provide instructional, behavioral, and personal support services to students. Responsibilities may include working one-on-one with students, supporting small groups, assisting with classroom activities, reinforcing learning objectives, and helping students with daily living and mobility needs when required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional support to students in classroom settings
  • Assist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
  • Support students with special needs in accordance with educational plans
  • Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist students with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities as needed
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies under staff direction
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and school administrators
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Document student progress and observations as required
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to comply with all professional standards and district policies
  • Current CPR certification, if required
  • TB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if required)
  • Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Position Details

  • Contract Length: 2026–2027 School Year
  • Schedule: School-day hours; specific schedules will vary by assignment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or adolescents
