Job description

SCHEDULE

Mon–Fri

7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Seeking a detail-driven Production Planning Specialist to serve as the operational backbone between sales demand and manufacturing output. In this critical role, you will orchestrate the end-to-end production cycle, ensuring finished goods are produced on time, raw materials and packaging are available without excess, and the factory floor runs without interruption. If you thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment and can translate complex supply chain data into clear, actionable plans, we want to hear from you.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Scheduling & Planning

• Create, evaluate, and maintain a detailed Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned to sales forecasts and live order volumes.

• Review and update the MPS, walking the factory floor to track completion status against plan.

• Process new customer orders and integrate them into the MPS.

• Generate and monitor manufacturing work orders, ensuring sequencing aligns with delivery commitments.

Material & Inventory Management

• Audit raw material, label, and packaging inventory against production needs; place replenishment orders with domestic suppliers and monitor ETAs.

• Conduct a full finished goods review (MCBE), aligned with headquarters.

• Monitor inventory thresholds to prevent overstocking while eliminating raw material bottlenecks.

• Enter and release received container shipments and complete goods receipt processing.

• Adjust Purchase Orders against headquarters invoices and save DDT documents in alignment with POs.

Operational Coordination & Problem Solving

• Proactively identify and resolve production shortages before they impact output, bring solutions, not just problems.

• Address disruptions including raw material shortages, equipment failures, and staffing gaps with a solutions-first mindset.

• Collaborate with Supervisors, Production Leaders, Customer Service, and the Lab team to ensure seamless execution.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for domestic and international suppliers, including headquarters.

Forecasting & Supplier Development

• Develop demand forecasts for new materials and verify additional raw material requirements.

• Research and evaluate new suppliers, send technical requirements and manage onboarding through selection.

• Compile and report production efficiency, output volume, and inventory performance data to executive management.
