The Director of Labor and Delivery Services oversees the operational and strategic aspects of the labor and delivery unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves leadership in developing and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and optimize outcomes. Compliance with legal and regulatory standards, along with fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability, are paramount. Responsibilities:- Manage the function, staffing, and budget monitoring of the labor and delivery unit
- Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory standards, and care protocols
- Optimize patient throughput and delivery of patient-centered care
- Foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration within the unit and across departments
- Direct labor and delivery nursing practice and develop nursing standards
