Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Spanish-Speaking Legal Assistant / Paralegal in San Francisco, CA. The legal assistant/paralegal will support immigration attorneys by preparing and organizing legal documents, forms, and filings, maintaining case files, and tracking case deadlines. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with clients in English and Spanish, gathering and reviewing documentation, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence with government agencies. The role also involves general administrative assistance such as managing calendars, preparing letters and cover sheets, and updating case management systems. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and a commitment to delivering respectful, client-focused service.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Law and immigration procedures, with experience supporting Legal Assistants or Paralegals in a law firm or legal services setting.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting forms, compiling supporting evidence, and organizing filings for immigration matters.
  • Excellent Communication skills in English and Spanish, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, colleagues, and agencies.
