Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Requirements:

• PhD student in Epidemiology or equivalent research degree. Must have completed relevant intermediate graduate level courses in Epidemiology and Biostatistics; prior completion of this specific course (EPI 7108) or its equivalent an asset. Comprehensive understanding and application of epidemiology methods and demonstrated experience in using R software for epidemiologic analyses is required.

Nature of Work:

• Contact with students: Leading small group tutorial sessions (~15 hours)

• Marking/grading: Contribution to marking assignments and term paper (~15 hours)

• Preparation: Support in creating interactive material for small group sessions (~15 hours)
