Function in the Job
Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function
Duties may be assigned:
  • Stage material for Saw; pull material from stock and stage properly.
  • Prepare stencils prior to cutting of order.
  • Stage skids; preplan skids/pallets for cut parts ahead of time.
  • Pre-packaging; skid is furnished with cardboard/typar paper.
  • Marking of all parts
  • Marking of all rems
  • Ensure all rems returned to stock and stacked safely on rem skids or rem racks
  • Operates forklift
  • Assist in daily and weekly maintenance of Saw.
  • Participate in TQM and SPC meetings as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one month related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved
written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete
variables in standardized situations.
