The assembler will work in a team environment to disassemble and inspect paper machine rolls utilizing various tools.

 

 

Principle Accountabilities:

Disassemble and inspection of paper machine rolls (training provided)

Utilize different types of measuring instruments such as micrometers, sine bars, dial indicator, gauge blocks, calipers, etc.

Record keeping – complete paperwork for each job accurately and neatly

Operate tow motors, overhead cranes and different power tools in a safe and efficient manner (training provided)

Requirements:

Prior assembly experience

Ability to work overtime as needed

Must be at least 18+ years old

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license

Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Willingness to cross train and assist in other areas as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledgeable of different paper machine rolls, bearings, seals and other components

Experience working in a team environment

Must have or willing to purchase own tools

Schedule:

6:00AM – 4:00pm (4-day work week)

Monday thru Thursday, Tuesday thru Friday - Rotates weekly

Weekend work when required

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Starting salary for position: $27.00- $40.50 per hour.
