Job description

Job Summary:
The Digital Associate I is responsible for safe and accurate operation of Digital Presses and finishing equipment. This position utilizes various programs and equipment, both proprietary and third party, to deliver quality products. The Digital Associate I will work to ensure all jobs on the daily schedule are produced based on Clarity Output Solutions (COS) specifications. This position is a security role and will be given access to Clarity's System and network and thus is responsible for ensuring proprietary and PHI information remain protected in digital and hardcopy form. The Digital Associate I will report to the Digital Manager
Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday 7AM - 3:30PM
Essential Functions:
  • Reads and understands PACE job tickets and/or special instructions.
  • Performs all necessary quality control (QC) inspections on each job based on the guidelines communicated and posted in the department.
  • References COS reference guide and Digital Manager on how to correctly stage paper.
  • Moves, loads, and unloads paper rolls (Teslin) to Pressroom/on Presses as needed.
  • Moves wastepaper rolls (Teslin) to paper compactor machine.
  • Empties paper bag waste on compactor machine
  • Cleans the compactor area after disposing materials.
  • Reports compactor pressure in log.
  • Understands how to set up and feed material through different machines and observes control points of equipment.
  • Cleans and vacuums machines and sensors.
  • Replaces toner cartridges and fusers.
  • Analyzes and calibrates cutter roller adjustments and presses.
  • Works cooperatively with other departments to help achieve manufacturing goals
  • Assists in light handiwork/maintenance/cleaning as needed.
  • Performs general housekeeping including general upkeep both in and outside of the facility, trash/waste removal, and general assistance.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience of machine operation preferred.
  • Experience navigating web browsers required.
  • Basic math and reading skills required
