Job description


A cashier is responsible for providing outstanding customer service as per Lil Pantry standards. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly process sale, manage cash register operations, as well as safeguarding company assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Ensure that each customer receives exceptional service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer.

● Performs tasks accurately and efficiently, free from errors

● Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements

● Communicate customer requests to OTL/NTL/DM

● Maintain orderly appearance of store and keep supplies stocked

● Assist with gas station functions, if necessary, in order to provide outstanding customer service

● Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on-time and appropriately uniformed

● Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by management

Skills and Competencies

● Ability to process information/merchandise through register system

● Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation

● Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job

● Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle merchandise and fixtures throughout the station, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above

● Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
