Job description

SPS is looking for a Glass & Panel Project Manager that is knowledgeable in Panel Products, Glass/Glazing, and Curtainwall that provide leadership on assigned projects with the goal of delivering projects on schedule, within budget and that meet the client requirements. The PM will manage the interaction between the project team (suppliers, vendors and subcontractors) and the client regarding the project deliverables, milestones and deliverables in the Southeast Region of the US. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation on a project.
  • Manages client interaction on assigned projects and promotes a positive partnering relationship among all project team members.
  • Coordinates project scope, complexity, planning and scheduling with client and development of team members.
  • Ability to identify, mitigate and manage risks associated with assigned projects and their integration into the existing environment.
  • Develops and maintains the Project Execution Plan.
  • Manages the project budget development process.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels and across the organization.
  • Generate submittals and orders to vendors and submittal returns to and from Architects and clients.
  • Shop Drawing Submittals, Review and Response of RFIs, ASI, etc.

Requirements / Experience

  • Qualification in project management techniques or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  • Direct work experience in project management capacity.
  • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management software.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, Explorer, Vista, and Outlook.
