As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the opportunity to support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every shift.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support the control of visitor and/or contractor access in accordance with location policies.
  • Observe equipment, materials, and work areas for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, and report findings through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
