Summary
You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (POLICY AND PLANNING) in the NETWORKS, SERVICES, AND STRATEGY BRANCH of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

  • You will represent the IC4 Division and USMC on various working groups and panels.
  • You will draft and staff policy directives to appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and affected functional components throughout HQMC
    and the field.
  • You will serve as a Marine Corps SME for interpretation and application of Marine Corps and higher echelon policy and directives relevant to
    enterprise services.
  • You will participate in IT working groups to represent the Marine Corps user community in defining enterprise-level IT acquisition and
    implementation strategies.
  • You will participate in status reviews to evaluate consistency of execution with enterprise-level IT strategies and plans.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising and applying skills in advanced information technology (IT) principles, strategic policy development, project management, and the management of IT governance actions; AND Serving as a technical authority and guide enterprise-level IT strategy and implementation.
