This is a job posting for a full-time paraeducator at our high school working directly with a student one-on-one, which falls under the support staff contract. This anticipated position will begin August 2026.
Job Overview:
The special education paraeducator assigned to work with a student one-on-one will assist with instructional supports, behavioral supports, and assist with daily personal needs/skills. The paraeducator will work at the direction of the teacher, and is under the general supervision of the building Principal and the Director of Special Education.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred
  • Demonstrated or prior experience working with children, and excellent organization and communication skills

Additional Information:
  • Minimum starting rate of $16.68 - $19.21 per hour; credit may be given for relevant experience
  • No district paid health benefits, coverage available for purchase at 100% employee cost
