Candidates must possess, or be eligible to sit for the next available certification exam for one of the following certifications: Thanatology Certification from the Association for Death Education & Counseling (ADEC), Hospice & Palliative Social Worker Certification (CHP-SW), Advanced Hospice & Palliative Social Worker Certification (ACHP-SW) from the National Association of Social Workers, Hospice & Palliative Nursing Certification (CHPN), Advanced Hospice & Palliative Nursing Certification (ACHPN) from the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses (NBCHPN). Spanish speaking highly desirable. The Palliative Care Coordinator must be able to pass a medical evaluation and a respirator fit test and wear an N95 particulate filter respirator mask in accordance with PEOSHA standards as a condition of employment. Annual Respirator Fit Testing required.
