Job Details:

Jack Driver position:

This position is responsible for keeping the line supplied with raw product. This person is responsible to bring WIP, material and Ingredient to the line when needed. Must be able to operate Jack.

Job description:

  • This person must be pallet jack certified in order to perform their job.

  • This person is responsible for supplying the line with pallets of raw products.

  • This person is also responsible for taking the dirty tubs and lids to the tub room to be washed or to the cooler for storage.

  • This person is also responsible for scanning the pallet of incoming product to the line into the EIM system.

  • Person holding this position is required to maintain attendance points below 6 to be able to stay in the position, when team member exceed attendance points, he/she will be demoted to any available position in the facility.

Other Duties: Work as directed by supervisor

Equipment:Hairnets/beard nets, gloves. Power/Hand Jacks, pallets, tubs.

Special Skills:On Job Training, pallet jack certification, must be able to identify product for proper storage and retrieval.

Communication Skills:None Specific

Environment: Work inside facility, noisy, wet floors and wet working conditions, adequate lighting, moving objects, mechanical and electrical hazards. Sanitizing solutions in water and sanitizers.Days per week and hours per day will vary.

Pay: $16.95 hour.Requirements:
  • 3 months of food industry production experience in the last 2 years (can be combination of employers as long as experience is 3 months within 2 years)
  • There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
  • Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
