Who you'll work for...
While most companies that sell pizza have no real connection to Italy, Palermo's passion for food and family reaches all the way back to the country where pizza was born. "Papa Palermo" carried the cherished recipes to America from Sicily!
Innovation is at the heart of who we are. We use an entrepreneurial, forward-thinking approach resulting in high-quality products that are consistently recognized by both the industry and consumers.
Our commitment to quality has made Palermo's a leader in private label frozen pizza and contract manufacturing.
Perks...
  • 20 free pizzas per month
  • Opportunities for training and career advancement
  • Paid Time Off and a Floating Holiday of your choice
  • 401(k) & Roth with company match, fully vested on the 1st of the month after hire
  • Comprehensive benefits package starting the 1st of the month after hire

Where you'll work...
Located in Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley, Villa Palermo is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that adjoins our company headquarters.
Our high-tech pizza manufacturing operations include an on-site bakery to produce best-in-class crusts, robotic packaging equipment, and a 24-hour shipping and receiving facility.
What you'll do...
  • Lead and supervise warehouse team members on shift, providing coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing development.
  • Train permanent and temporary employees on warehouse processes, safety procedures, GMPs, and the safe operation of Powered Industrial Trucks.
  • Monitor warehouse operations to ensure efficient flow of ingredients and packaging materials into production.
  • Ensure accurate scanning, inventory control, and resolution of inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliant training documentation in the company Learning Management System (WorkForge).
  • Conduct safety reviews to ensure team members follow company policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
  • Complete warehouse documentation including Bills of Lading and shipping/receiving paperwork.
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Manage shift attendance and staffing levels, coordinating with HR and staffing agencies as needed.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and prepare required reports in accordance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment condition and coordinate maintenance requests when necessary.
  • Lead or participate in team meetings, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support company policies related to food safety, employee safety, and operational excellence.

When you'll work...
3rd Shift | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
What you bring...
  • 4+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in food manufacturing or frozen food environments.
  • 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience training employees and supporting operational improvement initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP or warehouse management systems (Oracle Fusion and WMS preferred).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor employees.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Powered Industrial Truck certification required.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Why you'll succeed...
  • You are a people-focused leader who enjoys training and developing employees.

  • You stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • You lead by example, promoting safety, accountability, and teamwork.
