Job description

Overview
Performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently. Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall and texturing, hazardous chemicals and general and preventive maintenance a plus
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for all maintenance and repair of the facility.
  • Repair of plumbing and associated equipment i.e. toilet replacement, snake stopped drains, repair leaks in piping, faucets and drains.
  • Assisting all trades: painters, engineers, electricians, welders, and carpenters.
  • Cleaning of shops, trash, sweeping, picking materials up from job sites, etc.
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications
  • Working rapidly, attention to detail, observing situations.
  • Must be able to remember orders from supervisors.
  • Must be able to read and write for daily paperwork.
  • Making daily decisions.
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
