What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Paint Sales Associate, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Paint Sales Associate, you need strong product knowledge of paints and finishes, basic color theory, and retail sales experience, typically with a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and color-matching tools is commonly required.
