Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the PVC application line dedicated to producing automotive battery trays.
  • Monitor process parameters to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PVC application processes, equipment, and production workflows.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks of finished products, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Document process parameters, issue reports, and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote best practices in manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as quality assurance and procurement, to support seamless production.
  • Perform other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE/ TECHNICAL TRAINING:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing manufacturing processes for PVC or similar thermoplastic materials, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of PVC properties, formulations, processing methods, and application techniques.
  • Proven expertise in operating and maintaining PVC application equipment such as extrusion, coating, or spraying lines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly address process deviations or technical issues.
  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing standards and quality requirements.
  • Familiarity with process control systems and production monitoring tools
