Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Reviewing customer specifications for detailed requirements to set up new processes or establish gaps between current practices and specification requirements.
  • Manage process optimization in regards to tooling, throughput, cost analysis on new/existing packages, and cost reduction on paint.
  • Oversee first article qualification to ensure time optimization, pricing evaluation and proper engineering.
  • Responsible for scheduling all new customer orders/packages.
  • Coordinate with planning for the creation of accurate and detailed work orders for all new and existing orders along with the creation of new technique cards.
  • Perform regular gap analysis of customer specifications for new revisions being released for current established processes.
  • Perform project management to meet required goals and deadlines.
  • Use Statistical Process Control tools (e.g. Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Pareto, etc.) to evaluate potential risk when setting up new processes or reviewing changes to current processes.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other project team members to ensure continuous success in meeting required deadlines and product goals.
  • Establish objectives for each individual project assigned to ensure that the team members have a clear understanding of expectations.
  • Schedule required meetings, procure assets required, and communicate with required departments to ensure objectives are met.
  • Create and revise internal processing procedures and quality work instructions for performing quality control tests
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
  • Mechanical OR Aerospace Engineering
  • 1 - 2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of CAD and blueprint reading
