Job description

Job Title: Industrial Painter 1st Shift/2nd Shift

Location: Arlington TX 76010
Shift: Monday Friday | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM and 3:00 AM - 2:30 PM with OT available
Pay Rate: $17.00 $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for applying paint and primer coatings to steel components used in the production of steel coverings for gas stations. The ideal candidate will have prior industrial painting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using spray equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate spray equipment to apply paint and primer to steel surfaces

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed

  • Mix paints and coatings according to specifications

  • Ensure even coverage and proper thickness of coatings

  • Inspect finished products for quality and consistency

  • Maintain painting equipment and keep work area clean and organized

  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE

  • Meet daily production goals and quality standards

Requirements

  • Prior industrial painting experience required

  • Experience using paint sprayers in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Ability to properly prep steel surfaces for coating

  • Basic knowledge of paint mixing and coating applications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
