Job description

Now Hiring a Paint Team Manager for a clean fuel manufacturing company. 
In this position, you will be responsible for leading all paint operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and employee development. This position oversees paint booth operations, surface preparation, paint application, color matching, paint mixing, coating performance, and final finish quality for fuel system components, structures, and assemblies

Paint Team Manager Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and supervise all paint department personnel, including painters, prep technicians, and paint booth operators.
  2. Develop employee skills through training, coaching, and performance management.
  3. Establish daily production priorities and staffing requirements to meet production schedules.
  4. Foster a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  5. Conduct performance reviews and support employee development plans.
 
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay: $50-60k / year

Paint Team Manager Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial truck, vehicle, heavy equipment, fleet, or industrial painting operations.
  2. Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing paint environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of paint chemistry, coating systems, and paint application methods.
  4. Proven experience with color matching, paint mixing, and paint system troubleshooting.
  5. Experience preparing and painting aluminum and steel substrates.
  6. Working knowledge of paint booths, curing systems, spray equipment, and mixing systems.
  7. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data sheets.
  8. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
