Paint TechnicianJob Summary

We are hiring a Paint Technician to join a manufacturing team responsible for preparing and coating industrial parts. This is a hands-on position involving paint mixing, surface preparation, industrial coating application, and quality inspection.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a production environment, and willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities
  • Mix and measure paint, primers, and coatings according to specifications and technical data sheets
  • Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and other surface preparation
  • Apply primer, topcoat, and specialty coatings using appropriate painting equipment
  • Monitor coating application to achieve proper coverage, thickness, and finish
  • Inspect finished parts for coating defects and quality issues
  • Check coating thickness and ensure products meet established specifications
  • Maintain clean and organized paint booths and work areas
  • Follow FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention procedures
  • Complete production paperwork and coating documentation accurately
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
  • Maintain paint equipment and report equipment or process issues
  • Assist with other production duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous industrial painting, powder coating, automotive painting, or paint technician experience preferred
  • Manufacturing or production experience is a plus
