Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to establish accurate diagnoses and develop tailored treatment plans to meet their individual needs.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, perform manual therapy techniques, and utilize advanced rehabilitation methods to promote recovery and improve physical function.
  • Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, proposed treatment strategies, progress tracking, and home exercise programs designed for continued recovery outside our facility.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment sessions in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy practices through continuous education and adhere to evidence-based methodologies to enhance care quality.
  • Provide emotional and motivational support to patients, empowering them through their recovery journey to ensure long-term success.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center primarily serves adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals seeking rehabilitation post-surgery, those recovering from sports injuries, and patients managing chronic pain. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping them regain their mobility and independence.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master’s or Doctorate degree is highly preferred.
  • A current license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of California, along with active certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Proficient manual therapy skills and experience in treating sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or chronic pain management.
