You will be working Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, in a supportive environment where team collaboration and communication are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing assessments and diagnostic tools to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other rehabilitation modalities to optimize recovery and improve physical function.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, expected progress, and home exercise programs that they can implement outside of therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and nursing staff, to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and outstanding patient outcomes.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy methods and best practices, actively engaging in continuing education and training opportunities.
  • Offer emotional support and motivation to patients, fostering a positive environment that encourages resilience and determination throughout their recovery journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at OrthoSport PT, you will focus primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from athletes aiming to return to peak performance to seniors seeking to enhance their mobility and independence. Your expertise will be critical in crafting tailored rehabilitation strategies that promote healing and functional recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in California, with the ability to meet ongoing certification and educational requirements.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification through AHA, required upon hire.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of rehabilitation best practices.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and a background in treating sports-related injuries, post-operative recovery, or chronic pain management.
  • Proficiency with physical therapy software and documentation systems, enhancing overall efficiency in patient management.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 per year for full-time positions, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes health, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; short- and long-term disability coverage; a 401(k) plan with employer match; and support for continuing education to foster your career growth.
