Job description

Locums - John Day, Oregon, CRNA Opening

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend (depending on permanent recruitment)

Shift Details:

  • Standard shifts: 4x10 hour shifts (7pmโ€“5am noted for night coverage)
  • OR case days: Tuesday and Thursday
  • Monday and Wednesday: cases such as ESI, pain management, etc. depending on privileges
  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule preferred (flexibility available)
  • CRNA will be on call for OB, trauma, and emergency surgery needs during on weeks
  • Must be able to report to hospital within 20 minutes
  • Minimum commitment: OR open Mondayโ€“Thursday (4 shifts weekly during on cycle)

Practice Model & Coverage:

  • Solo CRNA model
  • Must be comfortable covering both surgery and OB
  • Will cover inpatient, OR, and call responsibilities

Procedures / Skills Preferred:

  • OB anesthesia coverage
  • Surgical anesthesia
  • ESI injections
  • Pain management procedures (preferred)

Schedule Commitment:

  • Immediate needs currently being met with casual staff
  • Seeking long-term stability with rotating block schedule
