Lead, manage, and guide the team of paid search in the coordination and delivery of innovative, well-targeted, business-building solutions across Google & Bing products and emerging channels to deliver on our dedication to client-obsessed results while helping to bring opportunities to life that drive revenue. This role serves as the hands-on expert and strategic owner of paid search, ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently, measured accurately, and continuously optimized to drive meaningful business outcomes. The Paid Search Manager partners closely with programmatic, paid social, data analytics, technology, and account teams to deliver integrated, data-driven solutions. You are naturally curious, analytical, and detail-oriented. You enjoy solving complex problems, digging into data, testing new ideas, and translating insights into clear recommendations for internal teams and clients.
In short, in close partnership with the Director, Digital Advertising, utilize technology and digital advertising solutions to delight clients, run more efficiently, solve challenges, and create magical experiences, while educating stakeholders along the way to further iterate, refine, and optimize our paid search offerings.
Paid Search Management, Strategy & Execution
  • Support and execute the Director of Digital Advertising's defined paid search vision by owning the tactical planning, setup, execution, and optimization of campaigns across platforms.
  • Translate client objectives and Director defined strategies into actionable paid search tactics, targeting frameworks, and activation plans for the team.
  • Manage budgets, pacing, and performance to ensure efficiency and goal attainment
  • Ensure accurate trafficking, tagging, and QA of all paid search campaigns
  • Stay current on paid search trends, formats, targeting capabilities, and platform updates
  • In coordination with the Director, lead the paid search team in excellence to maintain a best-in-class product
  • Mentor and support team members, helping them grow their paid search skill sets
  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, and standardization across paid search workflows
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and scalability

  • Strong technical experience, knowledgeable in digital advertising, with at least 4 years of experience in an advertising agency, with previous automotive experience
  • Experience & Education: 2-year technical degree with 6+ years of experience in a digital agency
  • Preferred Experience: 4-year degree with 4+ years of experience in a digital agency

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equal years of experience to demonstrate the necessary competencies required for the position
  • Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a keen ability to effectively and professionally communicate ideas to coworkers, other departments, and/or clients
  • Ability to work on and manage projects from beginning to end, potentially demonstrating ahead of project deadlines
  • Ability to understand and utilize software and platforms
