What this job involves:

You'll serve as the primary liaison between our client and all contracted site service providers. This critical role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure exceptional service delivery across all facility operations. You'll manage third-party vendors, ensure compliance with contracts and safety protocols, and drive operational excellence through continuous performance monitoring and improvement. Your work directly impacts the quality, safety, and efficiency of our client's facility operations, making you an essential partner in delivering JLL's commitment to world-class facility management.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage, coach, and review performance of contracted facilities service providers to consistently deliver excellent service levels across all site operations

  • Develop scopes of work, solicit and evaluate bids, and make award recommendations for facilities projects and site services functions

  • Oversee outsourced site services including cafe operations, pest control, custodial services, uniform vendors, landscaping/snow removal, life safety systems, and other critical site services

  • Ensure contract compliance through regular supplier audits and inspections, process purchase orders and invoicing, and maintain strict cost control measures

  • Coordinate comprehensive vendor administration including on-boarding, contract management, sourcing quotations, tracking insurance certificates, and ensuring appropriate site permissions and safe work permit processes

  • Document performance metrics and deliverables in site CMMS or other data collection systems, and respond promptly to audit requests from sponsors or Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) entities

  • Maintain training records for contractors and JLL colleagues, and support special projects, site emergencies, or other needs outside regular business hours as required

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience managing multiple third-party vendors and service contracts in a facilities management environment

  • Proven ability to develop scopes of work, evaluate bids, and manage procurement processes

  • Drivers license

  • Strong knowledge of contract compliance, purchase order systems, invoicing processes, and budget management

  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar facility management software platforms

  • Understanding of safety protocols, safe work permit processes, and regulatory compliance requirements (OSHA, AHJ standards)

  • Excellent vendor relationship management skills with ability to hold contractors accountable for performance standards

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage documentation, audits, inspections, and reporting requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field

  • Professional certifications such as FMP (Facility Management Professional), CFM (Certified Facility Manager), or equivalent credentials

  • Experience in corporate, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical facility environments

  • Knowledge of life safety systems, building codes, and environmental compliance standards

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with multiple CMMS platforms

  • Background in supplier performance metrics, KPI development, and continuous improvement initiatives
