Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator / IT Team Lead

Location: Salt Lake City, UT | Onsite

Pay Rate: $90,000 โ€“ $120,000 annually

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator / IT Team Lead for a well-established technology services provider in the Intermountain West, a great opportunity for someone with deep infrastructure and cloud administration experience looking to grow into a senior leadership role.

โ€ข       Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server (2012โ€“2022), Active Directory, VMware/Hyper-V, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace environments.

โ€ข       Serve as Tier 3 escalation point, leading root-cause analysis, managing high-impact IT projects, and mentoring junior engineers.

โ€ข       Configure and optimize LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, DNS/DHCP, SAN/NAS storage, RAID, and backup solutions (Datto, Veeam, StorageCraft).

โ€ข       Support customers via phone, chat, email, and ticketing with a strong focus on satisfaction and communication.

Essential Qualifications

โ€ข       8+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on system administration across Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V).

โ€ข       Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), PowerShell scripting, and endpoint security solutions.

โ€ข       Relevant certifications required or to be obtained within 1 year: CompTIA Security+/Server+, VMware VCXD, Microsoft MS-102, and a cloud architect certification; valid driverโ€™s license required.
