Being paid once a month, also known as a monthly pay schedule, means that employees receive their entire salary or wages in a single payment each month. Being paid once a month means you receive your entire paycheck at the same time, so it's important to plan your finances carefully. Many employees find it helpful to create a monthly budget, listing all recurring expenses and setting aside funds for savings and unexpected costs at the start of each pay period. Some employers offer resources or tools to help manage monthly pay cycles, and you can also consider automating bill payments and setting calendar reminders to avoid late fees.
