Job Description
Flexographic Press Operator (3rd Shift)

We are seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to join our production team on 3rd shift. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Mark Andy flexographic printing presses while producing high-quality labels and packaging products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience running Mark Andy narrow web flexo presses and possess a strong understanding of flexographic printing processes, color control, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate Mark Andy flexographic printing presses
  • Read and interpret job tickets, specifications, and production requirements
  • Mount plates, load substrates, and prepare inks for production
  • Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration throughout the run
  • Perform make-readies and changeovers efficiently
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and print-related issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and housekeeping duties
  • Work closely with press support, ink technicians, and production teams to maximize efficiency
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of flexographic printing or related production experience
  • Experience operating Mark Andy flexographic presses
  • Strong understanding of flexographic printing processes and color control
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
