Padel information

What is a padel?

A Padel job typically involves roles related to the sport of padel, such as coaching, facility management, event organizing, or equipment sales. Coaches train players in technique and strategy, while facility managers oversee club operations. Event organizers plan tournaments, and sales professionals handle padel gear and equipment.

What are the typical responsibilities of a padel coach on a weekly basis?

As a Padel Coach, your week will often involve conducting individual and group training sessions, analyzing player performance, and developing tailored improvement plans. You may also be responsible for organizing drills, overseeing matches or leagues, and maintaining a safe, welcoming atmosphere on the court. Additionally, coaches frequently collaborate with facility staff and other coaches to coordinate schedules and support club events. This combination of on-court coaching and team coordination ensures a dynamic and rewarding work environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the padel position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Padel Coach, you need in-depth knowledge of padel techniques, game strategy, and often prior competitive playing experience. Familiarity with sports training tools, court equipment, and relevant coaching certifications (such as from the International Padel Federation) is highly beneficial. Strong communication, motivational skills, and the ability to adapt instruction to various skill levels are essential soft skills. These qualifications ensure effective player development, safety, and the ability to foster a positive, engaging sporting environment.

Job description

About Padel Haus and Juice Haus
Padel Haus is New York City's premier padel club, setting the gold standard for the sport with world-class facilities across Williamsburg, DUMBO, and Greenpoint in Brooklyn, and now expanding beyond NYC with locations in Nashville, Atlanta, Denver. Designed to offer an unparalleled playing experience, our state-of-the-art courts cater to players of all levels, from beginners to professionals. More than just a club, Padel Haus is a thriving community where passion for the game of padel meets an exceptional social atmosphere. Building on our rapid growth, with more cities like Dallas on the horizon, we are looking for dynamic individuals ready to become key players in delivering the Padel Haus experience.
Juice Haus is the food and beverage experience at the heart of each Padel Haus location. More than just a cafe, Juice Haus is where the community gathers before and after matches, during tournaments, and everything else in between. We serve fresh smoothies, cold-pressed juices, coffee, light bites, and drinks, which fuels players and guests with the same energy and intention that defines the Padel Haus experience.
If you are passionate about hospitality and want to be part of a growing sports and wellness community, Juice Haus is the place for you.
About the role
The Juice Haus F&B Manager is the operational backbone of the Padel Haus food and beverage experience. You'll lead the Juice Haus team, own day-to-day operations, and ensure every guest interaction from a post-match smoothie to a tournament event reflects the energy, quality, and hospitality that defines Padel Haus. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends people management, inventory and cost control, and a genuine passion for creating community through great food and drink.
If you're a hospitality professional who thrives in dynamic, sports-driven environments and wants to build something meaningful, this role is for you.
What You Will Do
Team Leadership & Development
  • Hire, train, and develop Juice Haus baristas and front-of-house staff, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Build and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during court rush periods, events, and tournaments.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins, performance reviews, and on-the-floor coaching to continuously elevate service standards.

Operations & Quality
  • Oversee all daily Juice Haus operations including opening and closing procedures, beverage preparation standards, and food safety compliance.
  • Ensure consistent quality across all menu offerings such as fresh juices, smoothies, espresso drinks, light bites, and alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and prep environment at all times.

Inventory & Financial Management
  • Own inventory management end-to-end: ordering, receiving, tracking, and waste reduction.
  • Monitor COGS, labor costs, and revenue targets, reporting regularly to club leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to grow F&B revenue through menu development, upselling strategies, and event programming.

Events & Guest Experience
  • Partner with the Club Concierge and Events teams to execute F&B service for tournaments, member events, and private bookings.
  • Set the hospitality tone for the Juice Haus ensuring every guest feels welcomed, energized, and taken care of.
  • Collect and act on guest feedback to continuously improve the experience.

Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure full compliance with local food safety regulations, alcohol service laws, and health codes.
  • Maintain all required certifications and ensure staff are properly trained and licensed

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
  • Background in café, juice bar, bar, or multi-concept hospitality environments preferred
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong financial acumen and comfortable owning a P&L, managing COGS, and hitting revenue targets
  • Experience with inventory management, vendor relationships, and ordering systems
  • Valid Food Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent), or willingness to obtain prior to start
  • TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic reporting tools
  • A warm, energetic leadership style that elevates the people around you
  • Genuine interest in sports, wellness, or community-driven environments; passion for the Padel Haus mission is a plus
  • Must be of legal age to serve and supervise alcohol service per applicable Colorado law

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Why Join Padel Haus?
At Padel Haus, we are passionate about growing the sport of padel and providing a best-in-class experience for players of all levels. As a Juice Haus Manager, you will join a fast-growing brand redefining sports hospitality, where your work directly shapes our community and member experience. You'll enjoy opportunities for growth, a supportive team environment, and access to exclusive club perks, all while being part of a high-energy culture that values initiative and excellence.
The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 72,000 USD per year (Padel Haus Denver)
