Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and efficient Radiologist to provide overnight (Night Hawk) diagnostic imaging interpretation. This role focuses on delivering timely, high-quality reads for emergency and inpatient studies, ensuring continuity of care during off-hours. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong clinical judgment across a broad range of imaging modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, timely interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound
- Prioritize and manage STAT, urgent, and routine cases during overnight shifts
- Communicate critical findings promptly and effectively to referring physicians and clinical teams
- Maintain clear, concise, and compliant radiology reports
- Collaborate with emergency department staff and hospital clinicians as needed
- Adhere to quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements
- Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives when applicable
Schedule & Work Environment
- Overnight shifts (evening through early morning)- 11p-7a
- Remote (teleradiology) or onsite depending on facility needs
- Ability to manage high overnight case volumes

Qualifications
- MD or DO; completion of an accredited Radiology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Active, unrestricted medical license(s)
- Fellowship training preferred (Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, or Body Imaging)
- Strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging
