Key Technology: Sterling File Gateway, Java, Database, MOVEit Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands‑on technical leadership to the agile project team tasked with migrating MOVEit jobs to SFG.
  • Implement codified and repeatable migration patterns for different complexity Jobs from MOVEit to SFG.
  • Build the migration factory with codified scripts and common plugins for accelerating/automating migration of jobs.
  • Performs problem analysis for migration of complex configurations from MOVEit to SFG.
  • Performs complex installation, configuration, customization and tuning. Provides input on answers to technical questions and problems while adhering to standards and procedures.
  • Assists in strategic planning and architecture and design. Makes recommendations on functional and business requirements.
  • Participates in project activities and provides technical assistance for assigned projects
Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

  • Expert knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) with more than five (5) years of hands‑on experience on SFG
  • Strong experience with capacity planning, scalability, performance, and load testing.
  • Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, PGP/GPG, S/MIME, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP/SCP/OFTP, POP3/SMTP, Web Services/SOAP/REST, WebDAV, etc.)
  • Experience or strong knowledge of industry data standards (ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, RosettaNet, SWIFT, TRADCOMS, etc.)
  • Experience or strong knowledge of application programming/scripting technologies (.Net/Java/J2EE, AJX, ASP, BPEL/BPML, SQL, XSLT, Linux/Unix/Windows shell scripts)
  • Experience with .Net/Java based frameworks and solutions.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls and security standards.
  • Ability to work within a cross functional team as well as with various stakeholders.
  • Experience working in financial services industry preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor ‘s Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related field.
