We are hiring a Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate's responsibilities include picking, packing, scanning, and storing goods. They also maintain organization in the warehouse.


Essential Functions:

  • Picking out and/or scanning ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
  • Securely packing items in boxes or envelopes.
  • Collecting order notes to fulfill deliveries.
  • Securely shrink-wrapping items before placing them in envelopes or boxes.
  • Operating handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations.
  • Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved.
  • Tagging and labeling merchandise.
  • Performing general warehouse duties as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be reliable, punctual and present each workday M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
  • Ability to use a radio frequency or barcode scanner.
  • Strong attention to detail for order accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long hours.
  • Ability to follow direction from supervisors and work directly with other team members to accomplish daily goals.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Great team spirit.
  • Experience in order picking, Carousel/Pick to Light system a plus.
  • 2 years of warehouse experience.
  • High Diploma or GED.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times, at times from overhead locations.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
