JOB SUMMARY
Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties, such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing, and shipping orders.
DEPARTMENTS/INDIVIDUAL JOB SUMMARY
Kitting/Packing Associate
Warehouse Kit/Pack Associates are responsible for the filling customer orders by means of scale or hand count. Warehouse Kit/Pack associates complete the process by packing customers' orders in preparation for shipping. Warehouse Kit/Pack associates may also perform other duties, such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking, and shipping orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
* Fill customer orders as assigned by picking, scale counting, packing, or shipping material.
* Generate appropriate labels for product identification and/or mark materials with identifying information.
* Prepare parcels for shipment in accordance with Heilind and customer specifications to prevent damage, ensure preservation, and accurate identification.
* Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste.
* Participate in Company sponsored training and process improvement activities.
* Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet.
* Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement.
* Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
* Must have attention to detail.
