Job description

Job Description:

·       Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

·       Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in shipment and receipt of products.

·       Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

·       Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.

·       Promptly unload trucks and deliveries; sort and stock receivables.

·       Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.

·       Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

·       Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

·       Assist the Shipping/Receiving personnel as needed.

·       Complete daily inbound receiving of products and packages; notify recipients accordingly.

·       Manage open dock inbound website for scheduling.

·       Create delivery receipts and packing slips.

·       Inspects products for deficiencies or breakages prior to warehouse storage.

·       Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Follow safety procedures in accordance with approved training and report any dangerous conditions to Assembly Supervisor.

·       Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
Performs other related duties as assigned.



Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Arranging finished products using LIFO or FIFO methodology 
  • Moving short-dated finished product into inactive inventory 
  • Documenting daily inactive inventory 
  • Maintaining reverse-distribution processes  
  • Performing monthly inventory checks  
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming raw materials and returned products 
  • Assisting in labeling and packaging 
  • Preparing shipper cartons
  • Filling customer orders according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) 
  • Using computer hardware and software to generate labels and maintain equipment 
  • Performing daily and weekly cleaning according to SOPs 
  • Maintaining and organizing adequate shipping supplies 
  • Using manual lifting, forklift and electric pallet jacket as needed 
  • Ensuring that products processed for shipping are delegated to correct courier 
  • Assisting in others areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned
