Job description

Job Description:
  • Dallas or Kansas City preferred for required in office attendance.
  • 4 consecutive days of 10-hour Night shifts
  • 4 shifts will be night shifts only, little to no possibility of these turning into day shifts and they donโ€™t do rotations either.
  • The shift would be a Sunday night through Wednesday night shift with an on-call shift after they are trained, usually after about 3 months of one on call night per 2 weeks.
  • The hours are going to be from 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm Central to 6:00 am or 7:00 am Central. Can adjust either way.
    Follow the current TMO policy for their 10-hour night shift of 1 night in office mandatory at minimum and 3 work from home.
  • Always welcome to work in office more than the minimum and it is encouraged during training for the face-to-face interaction and help with getting the hang of things.

Scope and Responsibilities:
  • Support capital program deployments through real-time alarm monitoring, initial triage, and break-fix change execution.
  • Provide 24/7 operational monitoring, ticket handling, and troubleshooting to ensure network stability and minimize post-deployment issues.
  • Monitor KPIs, alarms, and system degradations, escalating where needed to ensure proper implementation and network performance.
  • Perform pre- and post-deployment validations to confirm successful upgrades and proactively identify issues.
  • Respond to alarms from tools such as One Console, Splunk, OpenSearch, NetScout, and CyberArk.
  • Work closely with deployment teams (e.g., NCI/ATAC) to escalate and resolve service-impacting issues.
  • Schedule and coordinate critical maintenance and break-fix activities with internal teams and vendors.
  • Participate in troubleshooting bridges to resolve outages and degradation events linked to capital program deployments.

Technical Experience and Skills:
  • Proficiency in packet core telecom systems including UPF, SMF, GGSN, MME, AMF, NRF, SMSF, NEF, SGSN, MAG, & ePDG.
  • Understanding of telecom protocols (Diameter, HTTP, SIP) and wireless network architecture.
  • Competence in monitoring and operational support tools (One Console, Splunk, OpenSearch, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and familiarity with databases and Microsoft Office tools.
