Job Description
IMKO Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a Snack Packer to fill an opening with a Meat Retailer in New Franklin, MO. The ideal candidates should be able to tolerate working with meat products in a 45 degree Fahrenheit environment.
Responsibilities of the Snack Packer position
  1. Packaging processed meat products including smoked hams, bacon, snack sticks, jerky and sausages.
  2. Making sure the correct product is being processed
  3. Using machinery such as wrapping machine
  4. Wrapping product securely according to company standards or requirements
  5. Preparing product ready for shipping
  6. Proper following of sanitation procedures
  7. Maintaining and cleaning equipment and tools
Requirements for the Snack Packer position
  1. Pre-employment paperwork required
  2. Plant manufacturing or similar experience welcome but not required
  3. Able to stand on hard ground for 8+ hours
  4. Able to lift/move/carry 20-30 pounds continuously and occasionally 50 pounds
  5. Able to work at required speeds
