Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection

This opportunity is with a well-established and rapidly growing structural steel fabrication and erection organization supporting complex commercial and industrial projects throughout Texas.

The company is seeking a Project Manager who understands how structural steel projects actually get executed, not just managed from a spreadsheet.

This role requires someone capable of balancing customer communication, fabrication coordination, scheduling, financial oversight, subcontractor management, and operational execution across multiple active projects simultaneously.

The environment is fast-moving, operationally demanding, and highly collaborative. Strong performers in this organization tend to be hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable operating with accountability and ownership.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive project schedules, execution timelines, and financial performance
  • Coordinate fabrication activities, vendors, subcontractors, and field operations
  • Review drawings, proposals, specifications, and scope requirements
  • Lead customer communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Negotiate and manage change orders
  • Monitor project progress across production, safety, quality, and budget objectives
  • Support manpower planning, resource coordination, and operational alignment
  • Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact execution

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within structural steel
  • Strong commercial structural steel fabrication and/or erection background
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects in parallel
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience interpreting drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Strong operational awareness and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable operating in deadline-driven environments

Preferred Experience

  • Tekla EPM / FabSuite
  • Tekla Structures
  • Trimble Connect
  • AISC standards and steel construction practices
  • PMP Certification

What’s Offered

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Strong organizational stability and growth trajectory
  • Leadership visibility and advancement opportunity
  • Employee-focused culture with strong operational support
  • Opportunity to help drive meaningful commercial and industrial projects across Texas
