Job Tasks

  • Machine Operator sets up, adjusts, maintain, and operates various pieces of computerized and manual packaging equipment, complying with internal SOP's.
  • Sets up Equipment. Supplies machine with necessary materials, maintaining quality of machine output. Must be able to perform simple operational duties to run and maintain an FF&S packaging line.
  • Completes required checklists on paper and / or through digital media.
  • Data input for WMS system required (Fast Field).
  • Performs training responsibilities and other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Follows all applicable SOPs, JLAโ€™s, and Policies while performing assigned duties.
  • Ensure good housekeeping of work environment and equipment.
  • Safety / Quality: Ensures all safety, environmental and operational procedures are followed.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
  • Willing to come on duty during free days off or when contacted.

Qualification and Experience

  • Must read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience on packaging lines for FF&S bags.
  • Experience working on other types of plastics packaging lines.
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift 25kgs bags
  • Prior machine operator experience within last five years โ€“ preferred.
  • Able to perform simple math addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to perform basic data entry into computer software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.?
  • Ability to conduct multi-tasking jobs.
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • Valid Driver's License is required
