Roller Machine Operator / Machine Shop Assistant
Pay: $20 to $25 per hour, DOE
Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, M-F
Location: Channelview, TX 77530
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Roller Machine Operator in Channelview, TX. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct API 2B cylinder forming and heavy plate/pipe rolling.
  • Set up and operate heavy roll machinery to form steel plates into cylindrical pipe structures and tubular products to required radii and specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings and material positioning to achieve required specifications.
  • Assist other machine operators and around the machine shop.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
  • Safely coordinate with forklifts and prepare rigging equipment to move materials and finished products.
  • Maintain material identification and traceability requirements.
  • Support production schedules, including overtime as needed.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience operating plate rolling equipment in a fabrication yard or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience working in a pipe yard fabrication preferred, but shop/manufacturing environment will be considered.
  • Strong math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
