What You Will Enjoy Doing
Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment
    • Equipment may include, but is not limited to:
      • Carton Erectors
      • Partition inserters
      • Product inserts/tumble packaging systems
      • Case and top closing equipment
      • Palletizing and stretch wrapping equipment
      • Scrap separation by material type and waste book
      • Rework and grinding activities per material handlingand quality standards
  • Manual responsibilities include:
    • Loading, building, and assembling cartons
    • Hand packaging of bottles
    • Loading labels and packaging materials
  • Maintenance includes:
    • Perform routine cleaning and minor preventive maintenance of equipment
    • Complete scheduled weekly equipment cleaning
    • Perform autonomous maintenance tasks per standard procedures
  • Material Handling
    • Loading/Unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers, labels, and other raw materials
    • Safely moving materials to and from designated storage locations
  • Documentation
    • Accurately document record of finished goods, packaging specifications, and visual quality checks
    • Perform changeovers of various packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer)
    • Apply correct labels and verify packaging configurations
    • Perform visual quality inspections of bottles, labels, and packaging integrity
    • Perform proper line clearance between production runs
    • Housekeeping of assigned work area

  • Quality Control Compliance: Performs all required quality checks with 100% completion and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects per standard operating procedures.

  • Autonomous maintenance completion

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Min. 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred

Additional Requirements:
  • Capable of lifting 55 pounds and to stand for a minimum of 12 hours
  • Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously
  • High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area
