Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Packaging & Warehouse Supplies Order Processing & Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role serves as a key point of coordination between customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced brokerage environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately from receipt through delivery.
  • Coordinate customer orders with suppliers to ensure product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Purchase packaging products and warehouse supplies from approved vendors while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor open orders and proactively communicate order status, delays, or changes to customers and internal teams.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer requirements are met and orders are fulfilled accurately.
  • Coordinate with freight carriers and logistics partners to schedule shipments and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, and vendor concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, vendor confirmations, and customer documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records within the company's ERP, CRM, or order management systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, vendor performance, and overall order fulfillment efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and maintaining clear communication throughout the order lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in order processing, purchasing, procurement, customer service, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer orders and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
