Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for successfully selling RSI's services. He or she will lead the strategy and drive the pursuit while working closely with our consulting team. We are seeking sales professionals who want to work in a high-performing culture and an environment that is collaborative, creative, and customer-centric.
• Develop new clients to expand client base, gain market share, and grow the company.
• Identify new leads and opportunities for the company.
• Build and manage sales pipeline from lead generation through contract negotiations.
• Spend high percentage of his/her time engaging with sales activities such as prospecting, managing request for proposal information, assisting with contract information, scheduling of client meetings and presentations, and sales forecast administration.
• Strong self-motivation and independent work skills.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• A minimum of five (5) years prior experience selling technology services or outsourcing solutions in a professional services environment.
• Proven skills selling to senior-level officers (i.e., CIO, CEO, CFO).
• Outstanding track record of success in achieving metrics and quotas as an individual contributor in a direct sales environment.
• Solid experience and knowledge of business processes, enterprise packaged software (E-Commerce, ERP, CRM, Supply Chain) and understanding of the consulting industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
• Strong commitment to quality and professional service.
