As a division of TOPPAN Packaging Americas - Trident create digital packaging assets for some of the most recognisable brands in the world. We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Mid to Senior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, amazing design talent, strong work ethic and of course a solid understanding of the art of branding and package design.
Senior Designers are responsible for creating unique and ownable designs that reflect the objectives of the creative brief while maintaining the strategic foundation of our client's brands. They work closely with the creative leader who will help them evaluate their design options and encourage and inspire them to deliver thoughtful creative executions. The Senior Designer will also work with all other internal Trident functions from project kick-off to completion to understand the full end-to-end process of design through production.
What you'll be doing:
  • Create designs for multiple projects and brands
  • Participation in brand or category audits
  • Communicate with Account Management on a daily basis to manage project assignments
  • Complete revisions and/or implement designs for multiple projects and brands
  • Possess an understanding of the production production process and play an active role in production file preparation
  • Complete projects from milestone to milestone and ensure quality deliverables
  • Play an active role in Trident Quality Control protocol
  • Effectively communicate with clients
  • Confidently present work to peers and clients
  • Play an active role in training & education
  • Understand the customers most in need of our services
  • Assist in maintaining a high level of integrity in our creative output
  • Design for the brands and clients we service
  • Review, edit and work from creative briefs outlining the project objective(s)
  • Support the account team in providing consultation to our clients as it pertains to the creative work
  • Support the marketing and promotion of our services
  • Bring out the best in your colleagues through your creative spirit

This is a HYBRID position located out of Cincinnati, OH Office
