Job description

Are you a veterinarian looking for the flexibility of part-time practice while continuing to grow and diversify your clinical experience? Bathurst Animal Hospital in North York is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing 3-DVM team.

This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian who values flexibility and wants to build on their experience in a collaborative, relationship-driven practice. Whether you're looking to complement another veterinary role, explore a different practice environment, or simply enjoy the balance that comes with part-time practice, Bathurst Animal Hospital offers an engaging and supportive setting to do so.

We are a small animal general practice providing high-quality, compassionate care to cats and dogs, with an openness to exotics. We see a diverse caseload and take a thorough, collaborative approach to diagnostics and treatment, with a strong emphasis on client education and building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. Our practice is quality-focused rather than transactional, allowing our DVMs to take the time needed to provide thoughtful patient care.

We're ideally looking for a veterinarian with 2+ years of clinical experience who is comfortable with dentistry and surgery. An interest in exotic animal medicine would be a bonus, as we are open to seeing small mammals, small birds, and potentially reptiles, but this is not required.

Our well-equipped facility includes an in-house laboratory, dedicated surgical and dental suites, and ultrasound capabilities. You'll also have the support of an experienced team of 5 RVTs, 2 Receptionists, and 2 Veterinary Assistants, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine and providing excellent patient care.

We offer a flexible 20-28 hour per week schedule, with no on-call or emergency requirements and approximately 1 in 3 Saturdays. Compensation ranges from $65-$70 per hour based on experience, plus production bonuses. We also offer a competitive benefits package, paid vacation, CE opportunities, RRSP and more.

If you're looking for a flexible part-time opportunity that allows you to diversify your clinical experience, pursue your interests, and maintain a healthy balance outside of practice, we'd love to connect with you!

For more information, please visit Bathurst Animal Hospital or contact Rohin by call, text, or email at (437) 246-4514 / Rohin.Rai@nva.com.
